The Chelsea Stripe is named after the owner of one of K-DEER's original retailers through her local shop, Market House in Westwood NJ. She and Kristine connected through their love of entrepreneurship, yoga and service to the community. Chelsea is an advocate for food insecurity and homelessness in the local area and has volunteered with NJ based food pantries to aid this cause. With each purchase, 5% of e-commerce sales are donated to the Community FoodBank of New Jersey (CFBNJ), New Jersey's largest anti-hunger organization that provides food, help, and hope throughout the state. For 45 years, the FoodBank has worked to feed pantry lines today and engineered solutions to shorten them tomorrow, inspiring positive lifestyles along the way with healthy food, nutrition education, and job training.
