April Stripe is named after the daughter of K-DEER's long-time friend. April was born with albinism - a rare genetic condition that inhibits the body from producing pigment in the skin, hair and eyes, which often leads to visual impairment. Despite these challenges, April is a healthy, spunky, funny and bright 4 year old who loves all things glittery and pink! K-DEER hopes to bring awareness to individuals living with albinism in an effort to eliminate the stigma and cultural myths that have surrounded albinism for centuries. With each purchase, 5% of e-commerce sales are donated to the
