Jody Stripe is dedicated to raising awareness for
APHASIA. This is a cause near to our founder and her family as her father survived a massive stroke in 1997, resulting in a diagnosis of aphasia. Aphasia is an acquired communication disorder that impairs a person's ability to process language, but does not affect intelligence. Aphasia impairs the ability to speak and understand others and is often caused by stroke, TBI or brain tumor.
With each purchase, 5% of e-commerce sales are donated to the
Adler Aphasia Center. As their advocacy programs and funding grows, they will be able to open other centers in the US and around the world. Learn more about their efforts
